Today, I was doing a standard Google on "Magic, Mensa and Mayhem," clicking on links I'd not seen before and my computer was attacked by a virus. Fortunately, I recognized the signs and stopped it in time. However, when I went back to try to find what site was going to infect me, I discovered the following. AVG does a good job catching bad sites for me, but sometimes it has to catch the actual virus download because the site is marked as a safe site. That happened to me yesterday as well.
Interesting note on the wording though. Takes advantage of those of us who skim.
Yeah. I know I had clicked on two of those sites when the virus popped up. Since I use Firefox, Rob had me sign up for WOT, and it rates sites.
